Innovators in photopolymer and 3D printing

3D printers Liquid Crystal are the result of the development in English company Photocentric. They are specialists in the development of photopolymers that can harden in light from right across the spectrum. They are also holders of many patents in the field of photopolymers.

The first 3D printer that uses daylight began selling in 2016. Since then, they have become one of the leading manufacturers of SLA 3D printers.

Highest resolution 3D printer ever – 47 microns.

Print speeds starting from 7 seconds per layer.

Integral to the printer is the visible light illuminating ultra-high-resolution LCD panel used to create the parts. The 5″ display offers a 2K resolution to building faithful representations of your 3D models.

Latest daylight resins offer a wide range of hardnesses, flexibility and colors.

For jewellery, dental and the most demanding applications.

New, upgraded HR2 with improved drive unit, pre-homed platform, flex plate and new Photocentric Studio.

The Liquid Crystal HR is a high resolution medium format printer ideal for most general 3D printing applications. It uses a patent pending Daylight Polymer Printing Technology.

By combining a high resolution LCD screen and our specially formulated polymer, designers, engineers and artists can now produce large volumes at a fraction of the cost of other 3D printers.

An upgraded, maintenance-free drive unit features in the Liquid Crystal HR. The unit enables increased accuracy over the height of the printer offering increased reliability to print both large, solid parts and small intricate details.

The redesigned vat is now easier to skin and is much longer lasting. The increased tension of the film allows for smaller back off distance whilst maintaining a good movement speed giving a more efficient movement of the platform.

Produce large high resolution objects at a fraction of the cost of other 3D printers.

Integral to the printer is the unmodified Ultra High Definition LCD panel used to cure the resin. Whilst the XY pixel size of 137 microns gives accuracy and fine detail, the high brightness and high contrast also contributes to building faithful representations of your 3D models.

Build Volume 470 x 240 x 340 mm.

The print plate is made for an aluminum tooling plate to ensure flatness and resistance to corrosion.
